What this service is
TU ALIADO EN INMIGRACION LLC prepares and organizes documents so that you file them yourself with the court or with immigration —what is called a pro se process—, keeps track of your payments and shipments, and lets you know what is happening with your case.
What it is NOT
- We are not attorneys and we do not give legal advice.
- We do not represent you before any court or any authority.
- We do not decide what you should ask for: you decide that, or an attorney does.
- We do not guarantee any result. The authority decides your case, not us.
What we provide
- Preparing the documents with the information you give us.
- Explaining where and how they are filed.
- Keeping your documents and receipts, and making them available to you.
- Letting you know the dates we are aware of and the status of your shipments.
What you provide
- Truthful information. The documents are built with what you tell us and filed under your signature. False information in a court filing is your responsibility and can cost you the case.
- Reviewing and signing each document before filing it.
- Letting us know if you change your address, phone or detention center.
- Keeping an eye on your case. Court dates change. Checking them is up to you: acis.eoir.justice.gov.
Payments
- Each service has its price, which is stated before starting.
- You pay for the service of preparing the documents, not for a result.
- Fees charged by the court or by immigration are not included: the client pays them separately.
- Every payment is recorded, with its receipt, in your file.
Your account
Access to the portal is personal. The password is yours and is not shared: whatever is done from your account counts as done by you. If you think someone got in, let us know immediately and we will close it.
How far we are responsible
We are responsible for properly preparing what you asked us to, with the information you gave us. We are not responsible for what an authority decides, for how long it takes, for wrong information we were given, or for someone filing a document in the wrong place or late.
Ending the service
You can stop using the service whenever you want and ask for your documents. We can stop providing it if it is used for something illegal or if we are knowingly given false information.
If this changes
If we change anything substantial, we will notify by email everyone who has one registered. The date above says when it was last reviewed.
